On the whole, Paul Pogba has had a fairly decent 2020/21 campaign so far.
The Frenchman has had a couple of injury issues which has seen him miss some games.
But when fit, for the most part, Pogba has been in fairly decent form this term – with the midfielder providing three assists in his latest three Premier League starts.
Despite this, his agent Mino Raiola claimed back in December that his client was unhappy at United and that it was ‘over’ for him at the club:
Mino Raiola: “Paul is unhappy with Man United as he is no longer able to express himself in the way that he would like and as he is expected to. Paul needs a new team, a change of air. He is under contract for the next 18 months and it will expire in the summer of 2022”. 🔴 #MUFC

Pogba to Real Madrid talk resurfaces
Pogba’s future at Old Trafford has of course been speculated on for some time, with the player himself claiming back in October that his dream would to be day play for Real Madrid.
And with Pogba set to have just one year left on his contract in the summer, perhaps Man United would be open to selling him in the next window, rather than losing him for free?
Now, as we edge closer to the opening of the summer window, Raiola once again looks to be aiming to create speculation over Pogba’s future.
When asked recently if Pogba moving to Real Madrid was impossible, Raiola stated:
“I do not know.
“I think that nothing is impossible, but football depends on the day. As it is. And you have to be flexible to think of all the possibilities.
“And if tomorrow Madrid wants to make a Hazard-Pogba change? It is just an example. And if all four parties like it, why not?”
When further pressed on the Pogba potentially making the switch to the Spanish capital, Raiola said:
“It is a question to ask Madrid. At one time Pogba felt a lot of love and trust from United, and there were several other clubs… Later, it is very difficult for United and Madrid to understand each other for a great transfer, because strong clubs do not want to sell strong players to other strong clubs.
“And I’m not going to fool him, for Pogba playing for Madrid was always a very attractive thing for Zidane too. He is his idol as a young man.”
