Danny Rose set to be released
Watford have had a tough time of it so far this season, even more so since Claudio Ranieri took over in the midst of a horrid run of fixtures.
Although the hornets will forever be remembered as the side who ultimately cost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his job in charge of Manchester United, they nonetheless sit just two points above the relegation zone, having won just 4 times this season.

And therefore, changes in January appear necessary, with Ranieri still trying to build a side in his image, while juggling that with building a side that is capable of staying in the English top flight, in the knowledge that below them, mega-rich Newcastle are looking to spend.
To facilitate potential incomings, left-back Danny Rose is set to be let go by the club, having been told that he will not pull on a Watford shirt again, despite only joining the club in the summer.

Could this see them return for an Arsenal man?
Kolasinac on his way?
Before the January transfer window opened, Watford were reported to be interested in a move for Arsenal outcast Sead Kolasinac, as they looked to bolster their left-flank.

Now back in full training with the Gunners, but with just 6 months left on his deal in north London, another move could be forthcoming now that a space has been freed up, with Mikel Arteta’s side open to selling him before he departs for free.
Would he be an upgrade on Danny Rose?
