Wednesday night saw Arsenal suffer yet another disappointing result in the 2019/20 campaign after conceding late to draw with Vitoria, but the latest injury for manager Unai Emery ahead of his side’s league clash with Leicester City this weekend has got some fans dismissing the significance of the news.
The Gunners’ squad has been tested in recent weeks, but the news that Dani Ceballos is set to be out for at least the Leicester game is likely to stretch the north London side’s depth even further ahead of a crucial run of domestic fixtures.
After arriving on loan from Real Madrid, Ceballos has started seven of Arsenal’s 11 Premier League games, whilst announcing himself with a Man of the Match display against Burnley at The Emirates.
Since then, the 23-year-old has struggled to impress in the league, having registered no goals or assists.
The news that the Spaniard is set to be out with a hamstring problem is far from ideal for Emery’s side, but these fans have been responding to the news suggesting the midfielder will not be a huge miss to Arsenal’s squad.
Here are some of the best reactions following the news regarding Ceballos’ injury.
