Agent of Arsenal-linked Camavinga says a lot of offers have been received for Frenchman

The agent of Stade Rennais star Eduardo Camavinga has spoken to the media, amid his client’s recent links to Arsenal.

Camavinga impressing

Camavinga is one of the hottest young prospects in world football at the moment.

The Frenchman will not turn 19 until November, but is already an absolutely integral part of Rennes’ side.

Camavinga featured 25 times in Ligue 1 last term, playing a key role in his side securing a Champions League berth.

And the campaign to date has seen the midfielder notch a further 33 league appearances for Rennes.

Camavinga’s agent speaks out

His impressive form at such a young age has unsurprisingly seen some top clubs tipped to move for the midfielder, including both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Reports stemming from France this week, however, have added Arsenal to the mix for the teenager.

In turn, amid his client’s links to the Emirates, Camavinga’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, has spoken to the media.

Barnett did not name any specific club when discussing his client’s future, but confirmed that his camp have received ‘a lot of offers’ from top sides across the continent for Camavinga:

“Believe me we have a lot of offers for this year, a lot of offers, and good ones. I mean top, top clubs

“He is good enough [to play for a Champions League club]. But we don’t want to rush anybody. I am an old man and I’ve learnt a lot of lessons in football as well. There is the right time to move on and playing games is the most important thing at his age.

“Playing in a good club is nice and learning for him. It might be this year he wants to have another year. He has got to talk to his family, his father. We will all sit down and decide. We will talk to Rennes as well and decide. There is no rush for him.

“He’s probably the best young player in the world. He has just turned 18, about three, four weeks ago. So he is younger than all the others. He has already been a French international, scored a goal for France, although he’s not a goalscorer.

“He’s an unbelievable talent. He could play in any team in the world. He is still going to be a great talent at 19. It’s not that old you know, 19.”
