Juventus have Locatelli bid rejected

It is no secret that Arsenal have been showing an interest in Sassuolo midfielder, Manuel Locatelli.

Sassuolo’s CEO previously claimed that Arsenal have tabled a bid for the Italian, albeit whilst also mentioning that Juventus want him, with a ‘special’ relationship existing between the clubs.

Recent comments on the part of Locatelli also suggested that he would perhaps like a Juventus switch, labelling them a great team:

“Up until now, I haven’t really thought about it, I couldn’t.

“The interest from Juventus is pleasing, they are a great team and I have said it several times.”

However, Juventus now look to have had a bid for Locatelli rejected.

Fabrizio Romano reported that the Serie A side wanted to loan the midfielder with an obligation to buy for €30m next year.

But Sassuolo are said to have rejected said offer and are holding out for €40m as they know Arsenal would pay that:

Arsenal admire Grealish

Elsewhere, Arsenal have been named as an admirer of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.

Grealish would be a huge signing for Arsenal and would add some much-needed creativity to their side.

Gunners fans should not get their hope up about a signing, however. As whilst The Athletic did name Arsenal as admirers, they also stated Manchester City is his only realistic destination this summer:

Arsenal are also among those who admire him, but this summer, the only realistic destination is City.

Arsenal struggling to sell Lacazette

Finally, the north Londoners appear to be struggling to offload a player.

As per Duncan Castles, Arsenal would like to sell Lacazette and get his wages away.

However, they are said to be finding it ‘very difficult’ to sell the forward, who now has just one year left on his contract.
