Bowen an unlikely target for Liverpool
Jarrod Bowen has emerged as a surprising target for Jurgen Klopp’s side this summer. The West Ham winger enjoyed a strong campaign last time out, netting eight times and grabbing a further five assists in 38 appearances as he helped David Moyes and co. clinch Europa League football.
Jarrod Bowen is on Liverpool’s shortlist for potential attacking targets. Jurgen Klopp a big fan. Whether they reinforce the squad in that area in this window depends largely on whether Origi/Shaqiri move on. #LFC https://t.co/GqbOZf7r8k

While Declan Rice, Thomas Soucek and Jesse Lingard took most of the plaudits, Bowen’s strong running and cultured left foot proved a vital cog in West Ham’s machine, and it is easy to see shades of Mohammed Salah in his game, with added defensive nous.

Still only 24 years old, he could be a player to improve significantly in the future and would fit Klopp’s desire to re-vitalise his squad in the coming summers.
Pricetag set by West Ham
However, the Merseyside club may find themselves priced out of a move for the West Ham man. As per The Athletic:
“West Ham’s stance is firm. Bowen is not for sale”.
⚒️ Keeping hold of Bowen is just as important as ensuring Rice & Soucek don’t leave this summer
⚒️ #LFC and Klopp interested but no approach made so far
⚒️ #WHUFC hierarchy think a bid would need to be in excess of £35m for 24-year-old@RoshaneSport https://t.co/mx5PWjmrMN

Indeed, as per the same report, the West Ham hierarchy believe that it would take a bid in excess of 35 million pounds to even consider selling Bowen, with the West Ham man under contract until 2025.
Liverpool fans- would Bowen be a signing you’d be happy with?
